I Made My Family Disappear

OK, I didn't actually make my family disappear and I didn't make anything else disappear, either, but things do disappear in my life – frequently. When I tell people that I just found something sitting on top of my bed or dresser, something that had been missing for days, weeks, months, and sometimes even year, they don't believe me. I wrote an article once about this very issue, entitled, The Curious Case of The Mysterious Pink Towel. You can read it by clicking the link. Oh, wait – that was story about something appearing in my house that I had never had before.

It gets weirder because that link will take you to another link, The Mysterious Case of the Missing Earring, which you can read by clicking that link.

And if that's not enough, read Am I a Poltergeist or a Halloween Freak Show? Truly weird things happen to me all the time, and though I've written those three articles/blogs, people still find me difficult to believe.

Until now.

Now somebody else believes me, because earlier in the week when my daughter dropped her earring in the bathroom as she was putting it in her ear, she looked everywhere for it and could not find it. Her kids and I peered inside the floor vents, under the sink, in the drawers, and even in the toilet, and though we searched the bathroom completely, we found it nowhere. It had seemingly disappeared.

My daughter and her family go through about 6 loads of laundry every day. I know, because I'm often the one who does it. Three days later, which means about 18 loads later, when I opened the dryer, hanging from the lattice work on the dryer vent was the earring.

Maybe I should install cameras in my home and create my own paranormal TV show. These things happen to my other daughters as well. We are one freaky family.

Hey! That could be the title of my show, "The Freaky Family."

Have You Ever Wanted To Leave This World?

My mother always told me (and everybody else) that I was weird. I remember her saying that she thought I was from a different planet. I thought I was too, but I couldn't figure out which one.

When I read some of Edgar Cayce's books (Edgar Cayce is known as the sleeping prophet), I decided that quite possibly I was actually from this planet, but from one of the lost continents, Atlantis or Lemuria. In any event I always felt different from everybody else and I often thought of escaping to a distant continent or even to a distant world.

And then I discovered that I could leave this world without ever leaving my body behind. Astral projection is an exercise that allows your spirit to travel through time and space while your body remains in a chair or on a bed.

How to Become Invisible

Have you ever wanted to be a fly on the wall so you could hear conversations you shouldn't be hearing or see things you shouldn't be seeing?

If you could wear a garment that made you invisible, would you purchase it?

Think about it. If you were a parent, you could spy on sneaky children. If you were a child, you could sneak upon prying parents. You could discover what people REALLY think about you.

You could learn government secrets.

The thought of owning an Invisibility Cloak is rather appealing, isn't it?

What's really interesting is that the Invisibility Cloak is not only possible, but also probable. The Invisibility Cloak is no longer just something out of a Harry Potter movie. Scientists have been working on creating the invisibility cloak for a while now. Want to know more?

Read Invisibility Cloak Coming To a Department Store Near You.

Regressive Hypnosis and Your Past Lives

Imagine reclining in a chair, fully relaxed. You open your eyes and what you see before you is a room you don't recognize. You no longer sit in the recliner. You stand in the room of a house you've never seen before. Or have you? This house looks as if it stepped right out of the 19th Century.

As you walk through the rooms, you note a sense of familiarity but you can't articulate why these rooms feel familiar. The furniture is so old, you reason that you must be in an antique shop.

You walk toward a long oval mirror and look into it. The reflection is not yours. You move your arms to test the image. The arms move along with you. And yet something about this house, about you, resonates with you.

You hear a voice in the distance. You're not sure you want to leave. You have rooms to explore and questions to answer. But the voice calls to you.

Three. Two. One.

You are now fully awake, back in the recliner. For a moment you feel as if you may have visited the Twilight Zone. But no. You sit in the office of a therapist who has successfully hypnotized you. The procedure you've just experienced is called Regressive Hypnosis and you have just returned from your past life. Read more about Regressive Hypnosis by clicking the link.

FREE PERSONAL HOROSCOPE – LIMITED TIME ONLY!

PERSONALITY PROFILES (available through June 30, 2011)

Ever wanted your own PERSONAL HOROSCOPE, but didn't feel like paying $50-$100 for one? Well, here's your opportunity to get your PERSONAL horoscope, based on YOUR birth date, YOUR birth time, and YOUR birth place for FREE. No long-term commitments, no harassment, no follow-ups, no spam – nada, zip, zilch – just the horoscope.

And these horoscopes are LONG! You will receive approximately 20 PAGES of information about YOU and YOU ALONE!

There's a catch, right? Well, if you call reading a catch, then yes. Because the way to get your FREE personal horoscope is by reading some blogs and/or articles.

Click any of the links below, read at least 10 blogs or articles (don't worry – they're not long – I have a short attention span), send me a one-sentence line about each blog or article you read, and you will get your free horoscope.

Where to send the information:

Send the 10 sentences to weirddreams@mail.com. Include your first and last name (pseudonyms are perfectly acceptable), your birth date, your EXACT time of birth, and the city of your birth. I will return to you a horoscope that will be at least 20 pages long.

A word about your birth time: LOOK ON YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE – take my word for it, your mom can be as much as 20 minutes off and it will change the landscape of your horoscope.

Remember the rules:

Read 10 blogs or articles.
Write 10 sentences about each blog.
Email those 10 sentences to weirddreams@mail.com

Include:

Your full name (first and last)
Your birth date
The EXACT time of your birth
The city in which you were born

And that's it!

By the way, if you would prefer an astrological profile for your baby, I can create a chart that will tell you the personality traits that your baby was born to display. They're fun to read and in my experience are about 85% accurate!

Well, It's The End of the World and I'm Still Here. Now What?

OK, I survived Y2K (and it took me so long to remember the order of those letters and number), and yesterday I, like nearly every other person on the planet, survived the next end of the world.

Now what? Should I prepare for December 21, 2012? I was not at all prepared for Y2K. I mean, I never went shopping for food, I didn't have a generator, and I didn't even have bottled water. You can't imagine my relief when I awoke the next day and realized I was still alive.

Another tragedy averted! PHEW!

But I should have guessed back then that another doomsayer would predict another end of the world. After all, doomsayers get so much attention for their predictions. I've been sick though, so when I discovered yesterday that yesterday was supposed to be the new end of the world, I had so little time to prepare. So I didn't.

I sat outside and waited all day for the gigantic earthquake that was supposed to shake the entire world. Morning went by. Nothing. Afternoon went by. Nothing. Evening went by. Nothing.

Would it occur while I was sleeping? Still I waited. And waited. And waited some more.

It reminded me of sitting by the phone as a teenager, waiting for a boy to call me on the phone. The wait was agonizing.

Still, yesterday I waited all day for the end of the world. And for what?

People keep promising the end of the world, and NOBODY delivers. And YET, those end-of-the-world doomsday maniacs get all kinds of press coverage and media attention.

So now I'm thinking (since I'm still alive) that maybe I could garner more blog readers if I make up an end-of-the-world date and skew some scientific data to support my prediction. I could then send my predictions to newspapers across the globe, contact radio and television stations, gather a following, and watch my blog numbers rise astronomically. It would be kind of like waiting by the phone again.

And then, when nothing happens, I, like other doomsayers whose predictions are WRONG, could make excuses for why nothing ever happened and create a new date in case the first prediction didn't provide me with enough followers.

Oh well.

Want to know what I really think about December 21, 2012? Click the link. Inside that article is a link to another article about December 21, 2012 (kind of like a surprise in a Cracker Jack box).
