Blog Carnival Submissions February 5, 2010

First up for submission in the Blog Carnival is the web site All About Movies for their review on the movie, Paranormal Activity. They provide both a positive and negative viewpoint, along with a rating and a "bottom line." For their review on Paranormal Activity, click All About Movies. They also provide numerous other movie reviews in their A-Z category. Check them out for movie reviews before you spend your money.

Next up in the Blog Carnival is Axel G, a web site devoted to "Personal Development That Works!" This web site discusses such things as health, success, emotions, happiness, meditation, spirituality, and more. It even has a section devoted to Eckhart Tolle, author of A New Earth and The Power of Now. To get a good idea of the feel for this site, read Subtle Intuitions. And for ways to develop your spirituality, check out more of Axel G's web site.

Next up in the Blog Carnival is Satellite TV Guru.  Not only does this web site offer satellite tv guides, it also offers coverage of current programs. February 4th, for instance, covered the newest episode of Supernatural, and it provides coverage for another one of my favorite programs, Fringe Season 2 Episode 13: What Lies Below. With links to the best Plasma TVs and online television, Satellite TV Guru is so much more than just a sales pitch for satellite television.

Star Costumes, another Blog Carnival entry, offers a wide variety of costumes for children and adults, including werewolves (where the previous link will take you). Read the blog post 7 Lies About Werewolves You Learned from Movies (seven of the biggest myths about werewolf myths the movie industry wants you to believe) and then check out the costume categories. From makeup to wigs to vampire costumes, Star Costumes has it all.

A surprising entry into this Blog Carnival is one that comes from Bible College. Surprising because this blog is a paranormal blog. But I'm including it, because it verifies my belief that just because somebody believes in paranormal activity doesn't mean she doesn't believe in God. Bible College considers itself to be "The Best Online Bible Colleges" web presence. And it provides the Top 50 Ecumenical Blogs for its readers. If you're interested in obtaining grants or scholarships Bible College offers those as well.

Another entry into the Blog Carnival is 100 Free Classic Films Everyone Should See. Some surprising and some not so surprising movies make this lists. But you can be assured of one thing – you will have enough classic films to keep you busy for a long time. As I write this blog, snow storms are expected across the Midwest and Eastern part of The United States. Cozy up and check out 100 Free Classic Films Everyone Should See.

Last on our list of Blog Carnival entries is Christian Websites. A Born Again Church And Christian Websites presence, this spiritual submission discusses such issues as Love or Sex, Lost Sheep, Prodigal Son, Will of God, as well as the Rewards of Faith and what it means to be a Rich Christian.

Well, there you have it, all Blog Carnival entries for February 5, 2010. Click away!

Past Life – Another New Paranormal Show!

A new show, Past Life, scheduled to air on Fox Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 8:00 Eastern and 7 Central time, was inspired by the book, "The Reincarnationist," written by M. J. Rose. Past Life consists of past-life detectives who investigate current lives to determine if what his happening now is a result of past lives.

David Hudgins (who wrote "Friday Night Lights") brings together Dr. Malachi Talmadge (played by Richard Schiff), Dr. Kate Mcginn (played by Kelli Giddish), and Price Whatley (played by Nicholas Bishop) who solve mysteries of troubled clients when they expose their clients' past lives.

I could have written Past Life myself. I came up with this idea years ago. Of course my idea was a little different. I wanted to call mine, "These Are Your Lives!" and mine was supposed to be a game show where contestants would tune into people's homes and tell viewers why their past lives contributed to their current lives. In my Past Life show, by merely tuning into the program, because television sets in my Past Life program were set up to tape whoever tuned into the program, viewers agreed to be on the show. If only I had followed through with my idea.

Oh, well, now I can watch my idea get played out a little differently on this new program, Past Life.

NEW Paranormal Show

Could I be any more excited? I love that the paranormal world is becoming more mainstream. In addition to all of my other paranormal shows, I can now add Paranormal Cops to my list.

Located on your A&E channel, Paranormal Cops promises to blend the world of paranormal investigation with that of criminal investigation (perfect for me).

Bona-fide Chicago-area cops during the day, paranormal experts by night, Paranormal Cops sounds intriguing and fascinating.

According to aetv.com, "The third season of Paranormal State {author's note: a favorite of mine} premieres Monday, January 19 at 10PM ET/PT and Paranormal Cops is currently and tentatively slated to premiere later in 2009."

I await with anticipation!

Psychic Children

December 15, 2009, starts the new season of Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal on A & E. The show is fascinating as it relates stories of children who are haunted by their supernatural abilities.

Psychic investigator Chip Coffee and Dr. Lisa Miller help these children cope with what is sometimes frightening to the children.

Have these children become what is now termed, "Indigo Children" or "Crystal Children"? The article, Psychic Kids – Crystal Children and Indigo Children asks why so many children today are being diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Asperger's Syndrome, and Autism. All of those disorders are related to symptoms belonging to highly sensitive children who have been labeled as Indigo Children or Crystal Children.

Read the article and determine if you believe one of your children belongs to one of these two groups of children who have highly developed psychic abilities.

And tune in to the show starting its new season on December 15th.

Scary Games!

Does this board frighten you? It does some people, so much so that even the thought of using one seems malevolent.

But Ouija boards are not the only boards that invite spirits to communicate with the living. Known as Spirit boards, Talking boards, and other names, they are merely communication devices that enable us to contact the other side.

After all, they are only games, right?

Well, then, what do you think about Angel boards? Are they better than Ouija boards? Does using an Angel board truly invite angelic beings into your home?
